ZoomSafer Sponsors 2010 Injury Prevention Conference in New Brunswick
ZoomSafer is pleased to announce it is helping to sponsor this year's Injury Prevention Conference. This year's theme is "Driven to Distraction: Are YOU Safe on the Road?", and will provide crucial information and resources to prevent distracted driving and its associated human costs. The conference will be Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, New Jersey.
This annual event is co-sponsored by the Level One Trauma Center and the Bristol-Myers Squibb Children's Hospital at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. The Level One Trauma Center is home to the Injury Prevention Program, the lead agency for Safe Kids Middlesex County, the local chapter of Safe Kids USA. ZoomSafer is a proud partner of Safe Kids USA, a national coalition of organizations dedicated to protecting children.
The event includes a keynote speech by Thomas Louizou, regional adminstrator for the National Highway Traffic Safety Authority (NHTSA). Other speakers include David Teater, senior director for the National Safety Council and himself a victim of distracted driving.
